FeONIC Transport

FeONIC plc

FeONIC Transport licences Audio Drive technology for use in the transport industry from FeONIC, a high-technology business that is a spin off from Hull University.

FeONIC works with smart materials and its team of academics, designers and business specialists has been creating new and innovative products for the global consumer and business markets.

FeONIC, formerly Newlands Scientific, was established in 1994 by Brenda Hopkins (now the Chairman) and a team of researchers and specialists that had all worked at the University of Hull. Brenda was a director of the technology transfer unit at the University of Hull and realised that magnetic technology had huge commercial possibilities. The team assembled had contributed greatly over the years to the University's worldwide reputation as a centre of excellence for innovation and technological research.
